LSU gets ‘Groovin’

Whether or not you were ever a student at LSU, you can still party like one at the annual Groovin’ on the Grounds event this Saturday, with a killer lineup of national headliners and local faves at a concert that’s free and open to the public. Pop-rock sensations One Republic are the main draw, but they’re joined by multi-platinum artist Jay Sean, CMT reality show duo Steel Magnolia, alt-punk trio The Daylights and local rock outfit Stone Rabbits. The concert kicks off around sunset, and will be preceded by a wellness fair with food, health booths and more starting at 4 p.m. Visit sg.lsu.edu/sot for more information.
