LSU alum could be getting her own Food Network show

Nicole Gaffney, an LSU alum and New Jersey personal chef, is one of the top three contestants in this season of Food Network Star. This Sunday, the Food Network show will reveal the results, and Gaffney could be the next big thing on the cooking-centric channel. In early June, Gaffney told 225 Dine that the amount of personal growth during filming was massive. “The big thing that stuck with me is learning to lighten up a little bit and not be so serious, and trust that people are going to like my personality,” she says. If she wins, Gaffney will host a demonstrational show called My Coastal Kitchen. Viewers voted on which contestants they enjoyed the most, and voting ended Wednesday.
