LPB rocks the art scene

Join Friends of LPB this Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Louisiana State Museum for LPB Art Rocks, kicking off the 2011 LPB Art & Travel Auction. It’s a celebration for art lovers of all ages featuring over 250 pieces of artwork donated by more than 200 Louisiana artists. Baton Rouge artist, Alex Harvie, will be painting live during the event. Admission is free and everyone is invited, so join the crowds to celebrate while you enjoy delicious food, spirits, and live music by the John Gray Jazz Trio. More information at lpb.org.
