Lonely Hearts Club

This coat has quite the story behind it, and it may change your impression of my mother if you ever have the divine privilege to encounter her. You see, she was in the band at Crowville High School. At some point during her time in high school, however, the band program at CHS dissolved, but the school board allowed her to participate in the Winnsboro High School band because she was that good. When the time came for the equipment at CHS to be wiped out, she went into the band room and *gasp* stole a uniform. My mother, the thief.

Lucky for me she swiped it because it is one of the warmest and coolest coats in my closet! I have the matching pants but they will never see the light of day on my body. I just wish I had the shoulder tassels to hook across my back and the marching hat to match!
