Local hip-hop duo to release first album

Baton Rouge rap isn’t limited to the Savage Life-crunk of Webbie. With the release of his first full-length album, Illegal Alias hopes to put his name on the map. The New Orleans hip-hop artist performs Friday, Aug. 8 at his CD release party with Slang Angus, Tiny Arch and others at the Spanish Moon. Those who bring a copy of the audio flyer (available at the Ra Shop, Storyville and Time Warp) to the show can snag a free Illegal Alias EP. $7. 10 p.m. 18 and up.
