Local artists bring Painting Sounds to Quarters

Erick L. Fields teams up with Lagniappe Records and musician Matsy for an homage to R&B and hip-hop greats. The art and music exhibit, dubbed “Painting Sounds,” kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday at Quarters (Map it!). The showcase features portraits of musicians such as Sade, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Daft Punk and many more. There will be a drawing for a free painting and vinyl.
