Listen to the songs and stories of the Civil War

Pack up the picnic blankets and lawn chairs and head downtown for an outdoor concert that will transport you to the 1860s. The Capitol Park Museum will host a night of authentic music and spirited storytelling memorializing both sides of the Civil War, presented by composer and music historian Bobby Horton. The concert begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, but show up at 5:30 p.m. for a food truck roundup and cash bar. For more information, call 342-5428.
