Lightwire Theater promises illuminating entertainment

The New Orleans-based performance troupe Lightwire Theater, responsible for the smash hit Darwin the Dinosaur, returns to the Manship Theatre stage this Sunday to bring two classic tales to sparkling life. Applying a unique combination of state-of-the-art theater effects and mind-blowing moving sculpture choreography, you and your kids will be mesmerized by the once-familiar tales of The Tortoise and the Hare and The Ugly Duckling. 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at manshiptheatre.org.
