Liftoff – A look at the 2013 Louisiana Hot Air Balloon Championship

The annual Louisiana Hot Air Balloon Championship is always a spectacle. This year, the event will run through Sunday at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center (Map it!) in Gonzales. For a complete schedule of events, click here.

As the race begins, the organizers usually give the media a little pre-competition ride in the sky. This year was no different. 225 had the honor of taking a short balloon ride with Bob Pulaski of the Ski Lift team.
