LIFF announces first two films – Louisiana International Film Festival announces two films it will screen in April

After the successful screening of Oscar-winning documentary, Searching for Sugar Man, Wednesday,The Louisiana International Film Festival (LIFF) revealed the titles of two films that will be screened at the April festival.

Those films include At Any Price, a drama starring Dennis Quaid, Zac Efron and Heather Graham; and West of Memphis, director Peter Jackson’s critically-acclaimed documentary examining the imprisonment of the West Memphis Three.

LIFF’s inaugural event will be held April 18-21 in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The event kicks off in New Orleans with an opening night screening and party. On Friday, April 19, the festival will host a producer’s conference and industry expo at the Celtic Media Centre. The entire film program will be announced April 1. All access passes for the festival are now available for a limited time with a special rate for students.
