LIFF announces 2014 film programming – ‘God’s Pocket,’ ‘The Double,’ and more announced for May film festival
More than 50 films have been announced as a part of the programming for the 2014 Louisiana International Film Festival.
The films include: Felony, a crime thriller starring Joel Edgerton (Warrior) and Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins); the European comedy Tasting Menu starring Stephen Rea (The Crying Game); a two-film salute to Karen Black with Karen Black: On Acting and a screening of the Oscar-nominated 1970’s film Five Easy Pieces; The Double, starring Jesse Eisenberg (Now You See Me) and directed by Richard Ayoade (Submarine); and Calvary, starring Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and directed by John Michael McDonagh (The Guard).

This year will mark the second year for festival, which takes place May 8-11 at Cinemark Perkins Rowe. A full schedule with details on panels and mentorship program events will be released soon.
