Let’s Hangover

Mixing Old School with Ocean’s Eleven would be risky business for anyone other than veteran comedy director Todd Phillips. But Phillips’ three leads in The Hangover, in theaters Friday, are all talented comic actors on the verge of stardom. Zach Galifianakis, who long toiled in cancelled TV series and his own fleeting talk show will break out as an A-list comedian this week. No doubt. And Wedding Crashers jerk Bradley Cooper and The Office’s crooning, J.Crew addicted simpleton Ed Helms just might do the same. When these three groomsmen wake up in a Las Vegas hotel room, their groom is missing, there is a tiger and a baby in their room, and their heads are abuzz. The rest of the film is a zany romp through Sin City to figure out what went so hilariously wrong. Heather Graham and Jeffrey Tambor co-star. Rated R.
