Learn about drawing and printmaking at LSU Museum of Art

If your child has an eye for art, LSU Museum of Art’s Art Explorations studio series might be right up their alley. This Saturday marks the first installment of the two-part series that will give ages six to 12 a hands-on lesson in drawing and printmaking, focusing first on capturing still life with charcoal and pencils. The second session on Oct. 12 will explore creating linocuts and monoprints based on animals and fairytales depicted in the museum’s Walter Anderson exhibition. Admission is $32 for museum members and $40 for non-members. For more information, click here.
