Last chance to help Ambrosia Bakery donate to Mary Bird Perkins

During July, Ambrosia Bakery (Map it!) is donating $2 from every sale of its signature fresh strawberry cake to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at Our Lady of the Lake. Also, with a donation of $2 or more, customers can receive a card redeemable for a complimentary pastry of their choice. This means you have just five days to eat some cake for a good cause. Proceeds from sales will support free cancer screenings, early detection and prevention programs, clinical trials and life-saving cancer care close to home. Ambrosia’s hours are 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays, and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sundays. Call the bakery at 763-6489.
