Lance Harris – Museum director on Lafayette
“A perfect day in Lafayette would be having out-of-town friends in for a visit and starting off the day with some fine pastries from Keller’s Bakery. Next I would show off the incredible exhibits at the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum. Lunch would be a Reuben sandwich at Hub City Diner. Then we would pay a visit to some of the other fine cultural establishments in town, such as Vermilionville or the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
An Old Fashioned at Don’s Seafood would be nice for the cocktail hour before a great dinner at the French Press.
I would top it off with some live music at Blue Moon Saloon.”
