Kids’ Lab – Kids can become amateur chemists at Louisiana Art Science Museum’s Kids’ Lab.
Kids can become amateur chemists at Louisiana Art & Science Museum’s Kids’ Lab. During each 45-minute hands-on session held at various times the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday of each month, kids ages 6 to 12 can explore the world of chemistry and learn about properties of matter and viscosity. At the end of the camp, participants will make and take home their own hair gel to keep. Saturday camps will be held at 10:15 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. and Sunday camps are 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Kids’ Lab is free for LASM members and the price is included in the general admission fee for non-members.
