Kids’ Lab at LASM
Kids can become amateur chemists at Louisiana Art & Science Museum’s Kids’ Lab. During 45-minute hands-on sessions the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday of each month, kids 6 to 12 can explore the world of chemistry and learn about some interestingly absorbent materials. Kids will experiment with common household products before exploring the properties of an amazing chemical. Saturday camps are 10:15 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., and Sunday camps are 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Kids’ Lab is free for LASM members and the price is included in the general admission fee for non-members.
