KidFest

St. Elizabeth Physicians, along with its Diabetes Education program, will host KidFest: A Day of Health & Wellness Just for Kids at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center’s gym (Map it!) Saturday. Families and children of all ages can participate in a 1K fun run, 25 interactive exhibits, free children’s health screenings, live demonstrations and presentations and a “get moving” activity area. This free public event starts at 9 a.m. and includes plenty of food and fun. Complimentary tickets are available at St. Elizabeth Physicians’ clinics, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Ascension Parish primary and middle schools and local businesses.
