Kenilworth July 4th Parade
The 39th annual Kenilworth Independence Day Parade rolls this Sunday, July 3 with the patriotic theme “Home of the Free—Because of the Brave,” with Grand Marshall Lieutenant General Russell Honoré, a 37-year veteran of the armed services. Enjoy a travelling show of local civic groups, marching bands, military groups, clowns and more, all celebrating Independence Day in the most fun and American way possible. It kicks off at 6 p.m., and begins and ends at Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School at 7600 Boone Avenue. Swing by early and jam to the music of the Jemini Venture Bluegrass Band. In keeping with this year’s theme, the Kenilworth Civic Association is also asking for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project—learn more by clicking here.
