Just like a ‘Woman’ – Daniel Radcliffe fights the forces of evil in The Woman in Black

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe left his wand at home but continued fighting the forces of evil last year in the ghostly thriller The Woman in Black, available this week on DVD and Blu-ray. In a film based on the popular Susan Hill novel, Radcliffe stars as a young attorney who travels to a remote English township for a funeral but soon discovers the revenge-thirsty ghost of a woman is terrorizing the locals. Part Gothic fairy tale, part Hitchcock horror, The Woman in Black co-stars Ciaran Hinds and Sophie Stuckey and is penned by X-Men: First Class scribe Jane Goldman. Rated PG-13.
