Juban’s offering four-course dinner to mark anniversary

In honor of its 30th anniversary, Juban’s (Map it!) is offering a special four-course menu throughout October. Patrons can pick from a specialized menu and eat for $30.

The first course choices are shrimp boil remoulade, Gulf crab cake and chicken and duck gumbo. The second course is a Juban’s Sensation Salad. The third course choices are New Orleans BBQ shrimp and grits with spinach primavera; Petite Adrian, a pan-sautéed filet of Gulf fish with lump crabmeat, mushrooms, scallions, Creole meuničre and steamed asparagus; duck cassoulet, a confit of a duck leg quarter in a braise of local peas and beans with smoked andouille and duck tasso; and steak frites au poivre, featuring Snake River Farms’ Wagu-Angus American Kobe flatiron. The fourth course selections are Juban’s bread pudding or crčme brűlée.

The menu is available during dinner hours Monday-Saturday, 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m. Juban’s will also run a special happy hour with $5 house wines, $3 draft beer and $5 specialty martinis. Happy hour runs Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday and Saturday, 4 p.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, call 346-8422.
