Jamie Wax loses his mind in ‘Goin’ to Jackson’

Jamie Wax’s eccentric one-man-show concludes its run at Manship Theatre this week. Goin’ to Jackson portrays the lives of five patients at East Louisiana State Mental Hospital, all of whom desire to be the new spokesmodel for the government’s mental health program. If you saw it in the original run and think you know it by heart, think again: Wax has once again updated the act.
