Iron Man 3 (in theaters Friday)

Robert Downey Jr. returns as billionaire philanthropist/superhero Tony Stark in the third installment of Marvel’s franchise, Iron Man. After the success of last year’s The Avengers, writer-director Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) takes Stark for a darker ride as he fends off terrorist villain The Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley. Critics have praised the film so far, saying Iron Man 3 is stronger than its overstuffed and underwhelming predecessor. If you’re keeping track of the box office numbers, the film has already surpassed $200 million in worldwide gross. Rated PG-13. Watch the trailer below:
