‘Insidious’ Out

When’s a coma not a coma? When the son of Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson isn’t simply unconscious but soul-snatched to another dimension in one of last year’s creepiest PG-13 thrillers, Insidious, new in stores this week. Directed by James Wan, the horror hotshot who created Saw then abandoned the franchise to sequel hell while he fished for fresher projects. Reeling from the possibility of their son succumbing to an unthinkable fate, Byrne and Wilson hire a mysterious team of pseudo-scientists to combat the evil spirits and rescue their boy once and for all.
