Inaugural Farm to Table Symposium takes place in New Orleans

Farm-to-table remains one of today’s most important culinary trends. Its broad appeal stems from the country’s renewed enthusiasm for family farms, and our desire to restore quality and flavor to American food systems.

The inaugural Farm to Table International Symposium (F2T), held in New Orleans Aug. 2-4, is a high-level conference that brings together leaders and practitioners in the burgeoning farm-to-table movement. The symposium will take place in tandem with the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Annual Foodservice & Hospitality EXPO in New Orleans, a national gathering of industry professionals.

The symposium is aimed at chefs, restaurateurs, policy makers, farmers, researchers, journalists and others who want to be on the leading edge of the discussion. The program features breakout sessions, plenary sessions, culinary tours, chef-curated dinners and farm-to-table exhibits. For more information, click here. —Maggie Heyn Richardson
