Imaad Wasif of Yeah Yeah Yeahs steps up to spotlight

Until this year, Imaad Wasif gained a Wikipedia entry only for his work as the ying to Nick Zinner’s yang in New York indie band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Taking cues from influences such as Neil Young, John Faherty and Black Sabbath, Wasif released his second solo album, Strange Hexes, earlier this year.
