Candace Bienvenu and her sister, Cassie, scour the eclectic depths of the streets in New York City, rummage through sometimes-ambiguous flea markets in California, and head to markets across the country to offer customers those unique, must-have fashionable finds, affordably.

They’ve been doing so for a year and a half now through social media.

After getting doses of big city life—Candace in Manhattan, and Cassie in Chicago—the entrepreneurs have recently opened Candy Apple in Louisiana. With their audience base established and growing, the sisters feel confident in opening Candy Apple’s doors this month on Metairie Road outside New Orleans.
