How about a side of Krautrock?

With a name like Fujiya & Miyagi, one would expect a Japanimation pop duo, but the British four-piece expels whispery, electronica sounds. Newbies may recognize their songs from commercials for Jaguar and Miller Lite. Fujiya & Miyagi (the name based on a record player manufacturer and The Karate Kid) just released their latest album Lightbulbs, which Spin magazine dubbed “the funkiest soundtrack to a cultural studies seminar ever.” Check out the Krautrock-inspired show tonight at the Spanish Moon. Opening act is Project Jenny, Project Jan starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12 via ticketweb.com. (Courtesy Fujiya & Miyagi)
