Hope for nun

Beginning this Friday through Sunday, Oct. 18, the Baton Rouge Little Theatre presents the dark-themed and controversial play, Agnes of God on its second stage. Summoned to a convent, a court-appointed psychiatrist must examine a young nun accused of murdering her newborn child, under the watchful eye of a suspicious mother superior. A skeletal cast of three nevertheless makes for an intensely complex psychological mystery. Shows start at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
