History Channel’s Loch Ness show has local connection
Catch the History Channel’s episode of Monster Quest tonight at 8 p.m., featuring a search for the Loch Ness monster. Bobby Christ of Abita Springs invented and designed the remote-control operated submarine, “SeaTrepid,” used in the show, according to Christ’s cousin, Baton Rouge attorney Matthew Nodier. Tune in at 8 p.m. and watch as the folks in Monster Quest battle the fighting bitter cold, hostile natives (constables writing parking tickets), bad beer, etc.
