Hey Gen-X’ers, remember Schoolhouse Rock?

The 1970s cartoon that cleverly taught lessons on grammar, math, science and politics is coming to a new generation of audiences with its stage performance of Schoolhouse Rock Live! Junior. The young participants of the theater’s Summer Performance Day Camp will star in the show, singing greats such as “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Do the Circulations.” Revisit the old-school songs with your new-school children at 7 p.m. Friday, June 27 at BREC’s Independence Park Theatre. Tickets are $5.
