He’s Just Not That Into You
With an eclectic and all-star cast, He’s Just Not That Into You is like the Ocean’s 11 of romantic comedies. Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin and Scarlett Johansson all appear opposite fellas Ben Affleck, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper and Justin Long. Written by Sex and the City scribes Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, the film follows these twenty- and thirtysomethings as they attempt to decipher the love languages of the opposite sex. From casual hook-ups to seasoned marriages, these characters experience arrested development, quarter-life crises and communication breakdowns. With its pop culture references and Relationship Etiquette 101 talks, this contemporary comedy aims to catch the zeitgeist. With The Office director Ken Kwapis at the helm, it has a good chance of doing just that and finding some humor in relationship problems, too. He’s Just Not That Into You opens nationwide Feb. 6. hesjustnotthatintoyoumovie.com
