Favorite blog and why: You probably think I’d say Red Stick Moms Blog. However, my “favorite” would have to be my personal family blog. We created this blog when we found out we were expecting our oldest son and have documented our family’s history on it for more than six years. It’s the most special to me.

Best place to meet up with friends: At a park or any indoor playplace where kids can play and moms can chat.

Who inspires you the most: I have several mom friends who I admire for their ability to love their family well and serve those in their community.

Clothing/accessory you can’t do without: PJ pants. My hubs calls them my “uniform.”

The best dish you can cook yourself: I’m more of a baker, so my friends might say my caramel brownies.

Coffee order: Pumpkin Spice Latte, if available.

Ice cream flavor: Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk.

Who is the most famous person you’ve met? Ryan Seacrest, maybe?

Ideal lunch date: Lunch with my hubs is always nice. I’m thankful that he works close enough that he can come home during lunch breaks.

Best meal from the past week: My hubs made a gumbo. I’m so lucky to have him as the chef in our family. Otherwise, my kids might starve.

What is always in your fridge: Milk. 4 gallons. Always.

Favorite fictional character: Harvey the Rabbit. I used to see his shows at my school when I was growing up, and now my kids love him. We make a tour of his shows at all of the local libraries during their Summer Reading Programs.

Accomplishment you are most proud of: Their names are Fisher, age three, and Trace, age six.

Baton Rouge needs: More family-friendly activities.
