The restaurant, bar and game center on Sherwood Forest Boulevard will debut a new spoken word series this weekend. The event at Quarters, called Writings on the Wall, is a four-part series that features spoken word poetry from artists and public speakers. First up on Friday is Donney Rose, a local hip-hop and spoken word artist who has been a contestant as well as a winner of multiple slam poetry competitions locally and nationally.
