A dozen local bands will perform as a part of the first-ever Jive Fest Sunday. The free event kicks off at 2 p.m. with bands perform inside and outside Mud and Water. Among the acts is England in 1819—member Dan Callaway helped create the event with local music blog Jive Flamingo. The event is a celebration of the first year of the blog as well as Baton Rouge music and also includes performances from Captain Green, Tess Brunet, The Hitchhiker and Minos the Saint.
