The country troubadour comes to the Capital City to perform his classic songs. Fans will not want to miss his show Sunday at the River Center. The 76-year-old singer-songwriter/guitarist is known as one of the founding fathers of the Outlaw Country movement and has had more than 30 No. 1 singles. His last chart-topping hit was in the late ’80s. Haggard took some time away from the spotlight, but made a comeback in 2000. In 2011, he released Working in Tennessee to critical acclaim and is said to be working on a new album with Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.
