Hear C.C. Lockwood discuss works inspired by Mississippi scenery
Paint meets film at Thursday’s “Walter Anderson’s Horn Island Through the Eyes of C.C. Lockwood” gallery talk at the LSU Museum of Art. In conjunction with the current exhibit of Anderson’s paintings, photographer C.C. Lockwood will discuss Anderson’s depictions of Horn Island, Miss., and how they have inspired his own work. Lockwood will also read and sign his book Gulf Coast: Where Land Meets Sea. The event starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for museum members and $20 for non-members. For more information, click here.
