Heads up: Picasso’s “Blue Period” inspires local artists

Kress Gallery (Map it!) will host an invite-only opening ceremony for its Blue Period Exhibition next Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. The new exhibit runs through Jan. 10 and features works inspired by Pablo Picasso’s famous “Blue Period.” Kress Gallery curator Christopher Turner, Alex Harvie, Taufeeq Muhammad, TJ Black and Jacob Zumo are just some of the artists with works in this showcase.
