Grammy winner Marc Cohn tickles the keys at Manship

Bred on Jackson Browne and Van Morrison tunes, pianist Marc Cohn came out swinging in 1991 with hit single “Walking in Memphis” and a Grammy for Best New Artist. Since then he has fought through severe writer’s block, a divorce and being shot in the head during a post-concert carjacking. Light rock is rarely this tough. Cohn will play the Manship Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 23-24. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $65.
