Government Street galleries open for art and wine event

The shops at 1857 Government Street know that nothing goes together like art and wine. For $20, you can purchase your own commemorative wine glass and as much wine as you want to sample while browsing the collections in galleries like Circa 1857, Décor Rouge and Rue Cou Cou. Wine will come courtesy of Calandro’s Select Cellars, and Yvette Marie’s Café will provide hors d’oeuvres. Head to Mid City and unwind on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information, click here.
