As a would-be super hero in hiding from a deadly enemy, teenage John is just coming to grips with his supernatural gifts when he discovers that an evil alien clan is hunting him and his lost brethren who escaped extermination and sought exile on Earth in the new action adventure film I Am Number Four, out this week on DVD. Based on the popular sci-fi novel by Patticus Lore, the film features newcomer Alex Pettyfer as the intrepid John, playing him like a loner who is afraid of little other than becoming attached to anyone who might get hurt because of his unique dilemma. His plan fails though when he falls for Glee star Dianna Agron and together the pair must battle the forces of evil out to get them at all costs. Timothy Olyphant and Theresa Palmer co-star. Rated PG-13.
