Tom Cruise relives the same day over and over again to solve a mystery in this new sci-fi thriller. The superstar’s new movie Edge of Tomorrow hits theaters this weekend. In it, Cruise stars as Lt. Col. Bill Cage, an officer who is inexplicably thrown in a time loop, living out the same combat situation repeatedly. With every turn through the loop, he gets closer to defeating an evil alien force. It’s a summer blockbuster that’s a little bit Groundhogs Day, a lot Source Code and maybe even a bit District 9.
