Go Kamping tonight

As part of its continuing Southern Circuit Film series the Manship Theatre presents a screening of the documentary Kamp Katrina tonight, March 19 from first-time director Ashley Sabin. For six month’s the filmmakers of Kamp Katrina follow Ms. Pearl, a 56-year-old Upper Ninth Ward resident and Native American, who offers her backyard to 10 people following the hurricane. The films shows one woman doing everything she can to help others and make the best of her situation following the storm. 7:30 p.m. $5.
