Go ‘Cowboys’

Iron Man director Jon Favreau teams up with James Bond and Indiana Jones this Friday with the release of the action-packed sci-fi and western mash-up Cowboys & Aliens. Set in Arizona in the 1870s, Daniel Craig stars as a man who wakes up in the desert with amnesia and a mysterious, hi-tech gadget strapped to his forearm. After returning to a nearby town run by a ruthless colonel, played by Harrison Ford, Craig must decipher the mystery of his disappearance and confront the arrival of the hostile aliens linked to the machine on his arm. Unlikely alliances are formed as a rough band of cowboys are all that stand in the way of a devastating alien invasion. Sam Rockwell, Abigail Spencer and Olivia Wilde co-star. Rated PG-13.
