Givers bring ‘Light’ to the stage

Lafayette’s Givers are making a splash on the national music scene, with a recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and their first music video newly-premiered on MTV. They were scheduled to play July 3 at the Spanish Moon, but the concert was postponed to this Saturday so they could take a trip to London. Finally, though, you can see them live, playing joyous tunes from their new CD, In Light. Joining them will be local swamp pop group Lost Bayou Ramblers. Tickets are $10-$12 at thespanishmoon.com.
