Meet Peggy Sweeney-McDonald, a woman looking to capture a history both oral and edible with her book, Meanwhile, Back at Café Du Monde, during a book signing Sunday. Sweeney-McDonald pulled together dozens of essays from chefs and memories associated with one of the most beloved Southern pastimes: eating. The LSU alumna will be signing copies of Meanwhile, Back at Café Du Monde at 2 p.m. in the first floor museum store at the LSU Museum of Art.
