Think you can beat your dad in a race? Test your skills this weekend as the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation hosts a Father’s Day-themed relay race. Fathers, daughters and sons will have the opportunity to compete in a relay at BREC’s Perkins Road Community Park (7112 Perkins Rd.) Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The event includes two-, three- and four-person relays as well as a single or double stroller and individual runner options. Awards will be given according to age groups, which will be determined by adding each team’s ages together. Registration includes a T-shirt, refreshments after the race and a finisher’s prize for each participating father. For more information, call 766-9039.
