Get inspired and make art

Celebrate 50 years of ancient Egypt at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum with this Saturday’s edition of Viewing & Doing Art! The event allows children ages 6-12 to design their own scarab amulet, which represented rebirth and regeneration and is one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient Egypt. Attendees will visit LASM’s Ancient Egypt Gallery to see examples then make their own scarab from clay. Admission is $7.25 for adults and $6.25 for children.
