Get groovy with B.R. Green

Groovy, baby! Put on your best go-go boots and psychedelic shirt, Baton Rouge Green is hosting their ’60s-themed fundraising event, “Green Paradise,” Friday at Avoyelles on the River. The nonprofit tree-planting organization will keep guests hopping with tunes from the Bench Bar Boogie Band. Appetizers will be provided, and prizes will be awarded for best ’60s costumes and dancers. Remember how to do the twist and the mashed potato? Better brush up!
