Get green this Thursday
The Baton Rouge Green Crawl is back for a third year, and the celebration of all things eco is bigger than ever! The route includes stops at vintage boutiques and furniture stores, sustainable businesses and nonprofit organizations that offer environmentally conscious living solutions to Baton Rouge. Local band Captain Green will get the party started at the first two stops, STUN Design and Grace & Hebert Architects, both located on Government Street. From there, participants can work their way along the route at their leisure, collecting stamps on their event passport, which can be entered into a prize drawing upon completion. Eco-friendly transportation is encouraged, as participants can bike safely between destinations, thanks to assistance from Baton Rouge Advocates for Safe Streets. Guests can end the evening with drinks and music at the brand-new Radio Bar, where a roundup of local food trucks will be waiting to satiate any appetite. greencrawlbr.com
